Two key players miss out on Bangladesh’s Asian games squad

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named their squad for the coming Asian Games, with Litton Das appointed as captain. Two star players fast bowler Nahid Rana and all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz have not made it to the team.

Nahid did not play in the series against Australia because of injury. Miraz played well in the series but is not included in the squad.

Taskin Ahmed, Abdul Gaffar Saklain and keeper Nurul Hasan are also excluded from the squad. Mustafizur Rahman will head the pace bowling attack, along with Hasan Mahmud and Shoriful Islam, who did well in the series against Australia.

Tanzid Hasan, Towhid Hridoy and Najmul Hossain Shanto have also been selected.
