Let Protest Be Dignified; Let Justice Prevail

Dear Sir,
In every sphere of life, there are different forms of protest�"each with its own standards of justice and fairness. Whenever injustice, discrimination or inconsistency arises, citizens have the right to express their concerns openly and peacefully. Raising one’s voice against injustice is an important part of responsible citizenship.

However, when a citizen’s rights are violated, protests should remain dignified and constructive. Our language should be respectful, while our arguments should be based on sound reasoning and credible evidence. At the same time, the state has a fundamental responsibility to ensure that citizens can fully exercise their legitimate rights. A capable and responsible statesman should welcome public concerns and listen to grievances with respect.

Protecting citizens’ rightful entitlements is both a trust and a solemn responsibility. Therefore, citizens should speak against injustice with decency and restraint, while those entrusted with governing the state must ensure that the legitimate rights of all citizens are protected.
