Eight men's and four women's district teams will compete in the Artisan Sepak Takraw Super Series-1 at the National Sepak Takraw Stadium, on the edge of the historic Paltan Ground in Dhaka, on 14 and 15 September.
The two-day competition, organised by the Bangladesh Sepak Takraw Federation under its 2026 annual calendar, will feature the quad event in both categories.
The men's line-up comprises the top eight district teams according to the rankings of the Artisan 6th National Men's Sepak Takraw Championship 2026. They are Satkhira, Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Nilphamari, Sunamganj, Natore and Noakhali.
The women's competition will feature the top four district teams from the rankings of the Artisan 3rd National Women's Sepak Takraw Championship 2026: Nilphamari, Rajshahi, Rangamati and Barishal.
The opening ceremony will begin at 3:00pm today (Monday), with Mohammad Zahed Parvez Chowdhury, director (Sports) of the National Sports Council, attending as chief guest.
The closing and prize-giving ceremony is scheduled for 3:00pm on Tuesday, 15 September. Md Daulatuzzaman Khan, NDC, executive director of the National Sports Council, will attend as chief guest.
Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman Khokon, president of the Bangladesh Sepak Takraw Federation, will preside over both ceremonies.
With places determined by national championship rankings, the Super Series will bring the country's leading district sides together for a concentrated two-day contest in the quad discipline.
