Two CNG passengers killed in bus crash in Mymensingh

Two passengers of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw were killed and five others injured after a United Paribahan bus ran over the vehicle in Trishal, Mymensingh, on Friday morning.

The accident occurred around 8:30 AM in the Kazi Shimla area of the upazila on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway.

According to locals and police, the United Paribahan bus first hit a Mahindra three-wheeler. It then lost control and ran over the CNG-run auto-rickshaw, killing two passengers on the spot and injuring five others.

Fire Service and police personnel went to the scene after being informed and recovered the bodies.

The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, said Trishal Police Station Officer-in-Charge Munsur Ahmed.
