Restore the Weight Scale at IU Medical Centre

Dear Sir,

The Islamic University (IU) Medical Centre is the only place of trust for general students seeking healthcare. The centre had only one weighing machine for students to monitor their weight and fitness. Although it was an analogue machine, it was widely used by students. Unfortunately, the machine broke down about five months ago, and the authorities have yet to take any initiative to repair or replace it.

The prolonged absence of this small but essential facility has caused frustration among students. More importantly, the failure to address such a basic need at a medical centre reflects administrative indifference. The prompt resolution of minor but necessary problems should be part of the administration’s regular responsibility. 

I therefore urge the authorities to install a digital weighing machine at the centre as soon as possible for the convenience of students.
