Emergency notice for commuters on Dhk-Ctg highway

Highway Police issued an urgent traffic advisory for commuters on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Friday due to scheduled repair work on a key bridge.

Vehicle movement on the Dhaka-bound lane is expected to slow down while maintenance work is carried out on the Alipura Bridge.

Drivers crossing the Daudkandi Bridge and passing through the Alipura area have been advised to proceed with caution as traffic flow may experience delays.

Highway Police requested citizens to immediately report any untoward situation or emergency on the route, as confirmed in a message issued by Tariq Latif, Staff Officer to the Additional IGP at Police Headquarters.
