Sirajganj EZ showcases investment potential to investors in northern region

Sirajganj Economic Zone Ltd organised the "Bogura Investment Roadshow 2026" here to showcase the investment potential, modern infrastructure and investor-friendly facilities of the Sirajganj Economic Zone to businesses and potential investors from the northern region.

Around 75 local investors from Bogra region, along with business representatives, local dignitaries and invited guests, attended the roadshow, said a press release.

At the event, the organisers presented detailed information on investment opportunities, industrial facilities, infrastructure and various services available for investors at the Sirajganj Economic Zone.

Director of Sirajganj Economic Zone Ltd Dr Engineer Mohammad Kamruzzaman, in his welcome address, highlighted the importance of regional investment roadshows in promoting industrialisation and expanding investment opportunities across the country.

Chief Administrative and Human Resources Officer of Sirajganj Economic Zone Ltd retired Lieutenant Colonel Md Shariful Islam made the main investment presentation.

He highlighted the investment prospects of the economic zone, its infrastructure facilities and the opportunities available for setting up industries before the prospective investors.

Bogura-6 constituency lawmaker Md Rezaul Karim Badsha addressed the programme as the chief guest while Bogura-4 constituency lawmaker Md Mosharraf Hossain spoke as the special guest.

Bogura District Council Administrator A K M Ahsanul Taiyeb Zakir and President of the Bogura Chamber of Commerce and Industry M S M Atikur Rahman Badal also spoke at the event.

The speakers shared their views on industrialisation, expansion of investment and strengthening regional economic activities.

Chairman of Sirajganj Economic Zone Ltd A Matin Chowdhury presented crests to the invited guests.

In his concluding remarks, Matin Chowdhury thanked the participating investors, businesspeople, guests and business representatives.

He said such initiatives would play an important role in attracting new industries and investments to the Sirajganj Economic Zone by creating direct communication and opportunities for dialogue with prospective investors.

Through the roadshow, Sirajganj Economic Zone Ltd reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening engagement with entrepreneurs and investors in the northern region and positioning the economic zone as a promising destination for new industries and investment.
