India to participate in SCO coordinator’s meet in Islamabad

NEW DELHI, Sept 28: India is participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of National Coordinators meeting in Islamabad from September 28 to 30, with Joint Secretary AlokDimri representing the Indian delegation.

The meeting marks the first major engagement under Pakistan’s 2026-27 chairmanship of the SCO Council of Heads of State, which it assumed from Kyrgyzstan on September 1.

The talks are expected to focus on finalising the organisation’s calendar of events and activities for the year.

Pakistan is hosting the SCO’s activities under the theme, “Turning Vision into Action: Connectivity, Innovation and Shared Prosperity”.

The national coordinators’ meeting is expected to set the schedule for ministerial meetings, working groups and other activities during Pakistan’s chairmanship.�" Z NEWS
