Gaza death toll rises to 74,228

The death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza has risen to 74,228, with 175,188 Palestinians injured since the war began in October 2023, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

The ministry said seven Palestinians were killed and 20 injured over the past 24 hours. It also reported that one body was recovered from the rubble.

Since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025, at least 1,445 Palestinians have been killed and 5,072 injured, while 835 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble, the ministry said.

Meanwhile, a mass funeral was held in Gaza City for 105 Palestinians whose bodies were recovered from the rubble of a residential building destroyed in an Israeli strike in 2023.
