PM orders faster work on Dhaka Inner Ring Road

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has ordered authorities to accelerate construction of the Inner Circular Ring Road project aimed at easing traffic congestion in Dhaka.
A review meeting on the progress of the project was held at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Cabinet Division on Sunday, with the prime minister in the chair.

Tarique Rahman directed the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and the Local Government Division to jointly review the existing project plan and take steps to expedite construction.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to identify and quickly remove obstacles hindering implementation, ensure effective coordination among the agencies involved, and set a realistic deadline for completing the project.
