NCC Bank provides scholarships to 143 needy students

NCC Bank awarded scholarships to 143 meritorious students from financially underprivileged backgrounds across the country.

The bank provided the financial support as part of its continuous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to promote education and human resource development.

At a recent ceremony organized by the NCC Bank Foundation at its head office, M. Shamsul Arefin, Managing Director of NCC Bank, attended as the chief guest and handed over the scholarship money and certificates to the recipients.

Additional Managing Director Md. Zakir Anam, Deputy Managing Directors Mohammad Mizanur Rahman and Md. Habibur Rahman, EVPs Nighat Mamtaz and Khandaker Saiful Alam, along with scholarship recipients and their guardians, were present at the event.

Speaking at the program, M. Shamsul Arefin stated that education is a fundamental human right and today's students are the drivers of tomorrow's innovation and economic progress. He emphasized that NCC Bank consistently supports brilliant students so that financial hardship does not hamper their academic journeys.

Additional Managing Director Md. Zakir Anam noted that NCC Bank has been contributing to the country's socio-economic development since its inception. He described the scholarship program as an investment in building a skilled and knowledge-based nation for the future of Bangladesh.
