Police have recovered 17 laptops allegedly stolen from a computer lab at a school in Chatmohar upazila of Pabna.
The laptops were recovered from bushes beside Idilpur Kali Temple in the upazila on Monday morning. They were found inside four bags.
Chatmohar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Oliur Rahman said local people spotted several bags lying in the bushes and informed police.
Police went to the spot and recovered the bags, which contained 17 laptops.
The recovered laptops will be examined to determine whether they were stolen from Sharatganj Tafiz Uddin Ahmed High School, the OC said.
If confirmed, the laptops will be handed over to the school authorities through the court, he added.
On September 13, unidentified people reportedly cut the grille of a window and entered the school's computer lab at night. They stole 17 laptops and their adapters.
