Nepal’s Election Commission will learn from Bangladesh’s postal voting system, with a Nepalese delegation scheduled to meet Bangladesh Election Commission officials on Wednesday (October 7).

Returning officers received 1,165,592 postal ballots, including 498,205 from expatriate voters and 667,388 from voters inside Bangladesh.
Of the received postal ballots, 1,073,497 were declared valid, accounting for 70.25 percent of the total authorised registered voters.
The Nepalese delegation will discuss Bangladesh’s experience with the IT-supported postal voting system and its implementation process with the Election Commission, officials said.
