LS: How do you start your day?
Azra: I start slowly and with intention, enjoying the sunlight and a few quiet moments before checking my phone. I have learned that how you begin the morning shapes the rest of your day.
LS: How do you balance work and personal life?
Azra: Balance requires constant adjustment. I protect time for myself and my loved ones and rely on a trusted team. Learning to delegate has been one of the best decisions of my career.
LS: How do you unwind after a busy schedule?
Azra: Good food, meaningful conversations, music and sometimes silence help me relax. After a busy week, I enjoy being at home in comfortable clothes.
LS: How important are fitness and self-care?
Azra: They are essential, not just for appearance but also for well-being. Staying active, eating mindfully, sleeping well and caring for mental health help us feel confident and energised.
LS: What is your essential skincare tip?
Azra: Never sleep with makeup on, regardless of how late an event ends. Cleanse, hydrate and drink plenty of water. Good skin comes from consistency, not necessarily expensive products.
LS: What inspires your fashion choices?
Azra: Bangladesh inspires me most-our traditional weaves, craftsmanship and colours. International experiences have broadened my perspective, but I love combining global elegance with our local identity.
LS: What is your favourite travel destination?
Azra: Italy. Its craftsmanship, architecture, food and effortless approach to dressing inspire me. It reminds me that style is a way of living, not just something we wear for an event.
LS: What advice would you give aspiring models?
Azra: Build confidence, discipline and character. Take care of your health, accept rejection gracefully and never compromise your dignity. Your uniqueness is your strength.
LS: What are your upcoming plans?
Azra: We are working on Miss World Bangladesh, Face of Bangladesh and Fashion Bangladesh, along with a National Designer Search to discover new talent. My dream is to showcase Bangladeshi fashion and talent globally with the recognition they deserve.
