Jewellery shops to close nationwide on Oct 19

All jewellery shops across Bangladesh will remain closed on Monday, October 19, on the occasion of Durga Puja’s Ashtami, the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has announced.

The decision was announced in a notice signed by BAJUS President Enamul Haque Khan on Tuesday.

According to the notice, the association has decided to keep all jewellery establishments closed nationwide on the day of Ashtami during the Sharadiya Durga Puja celebrations.

BAJUS requested jewellery traders across the country to comply with the decision and sought their cooperation in implementing it.
