The Saudi Pro League has postponed three matches, including Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr fixture against Al Ahli, with the match rescheduled for March 6, 2027.
According to a statement published on the league’s website on Tuesday, the ninth-round fixtures were rescheduled for logistical reasons, taking into account the minimum mandatory rest period between matches.
The matches between Al Hilal and Al Riyadh, and Al Ittihad and Al Shabab, have been postponed until December 19.
The league said the other matches in the ninth round would go ahead as originally scheduled.
Al Nassr’s latest match was against an opponent in the AFC Champions League Elite in Riyadh. The match began an hour late amid security concerns and ended with a 3-1 victory for Ronaldo’s side.
The league did not specify in the cited statement whether the postponements were directly linked to the recent security situation in the region.
