Bangladesh were bowled out for 172 in 49.5 overs against Australia in the third and final match, leaving the hosts needing 173 runs to complete a clean sweep of the series.

After winning the toss in Brisbane, Australia elected to field and reduced Bangladesh to 18 for three early in the innings.

Murshida Khatun scored one, Sharmin Sultana six and captain Nigar Sultana Joty three, while previous match centurion Sobhana Mostary managed only nine off 24 balls.

Sharmin Akter top-scored with 50 off 93 balls, hitting eight boundaries, while Swarna Akter made 54 off 71 deliveries with four boundaries. Their half-centuries helped Bangladesh recover from the early collapse but failed to lift the total beyond 172.

Ritu Moni scored nine, Rabeya Khan made 13 off 16 balls, and Disha Biswas remained unbeaten on 13.

Australia’s Megan Schutt was the standout bowler, taking four wickets for just 16 runs.
