PM to visit Ctg mandap on Tuesday

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to visit Chattogram on Tuesday to inspect a Durga Puja mandap and exchange greetings with members of the Hindu community, followed by an organisational meeting with BNP leaders.

During the visit, the prime minister is expected to tour the Puja mandap at JM Sen Hall in Rahmatganj, in the port city, before attending a meeting with party leaders at Radisson Blu Chattogram.

He is scheduled to arrive at Shah Amanat International Airport at around 6PM and proceed directly to the JM Sen Hall mandap, where he will visit the festival venue and exchange greetings with members of the Hindu community.

According to party sources, Tarique is expected to spend around 40 minutes at the venue. He is also scheduled to exchange greetings with devotees and provide financial assistance.

Following the visit, the prime minister will attend an organisational meeting with leaders of the BNP’s Chattogram metropolitan, north district and south district units at Radisson Blu. The meeting is expected to discuss various organisational matters and party activities.

Nazimur Rahman, member secretary of the Chattogram Metropolitan BNP, said preparations were underway, including the compilation of a list of participants.
