NCP announces rally at Shahbagh on Oct 30

The National Citizen Party (NCP) will hold a mass protest at Shahbagh in Dhaka on October 30, demanding the resignation of the home and energy ministers over the deteriorating law and order situation and energy-related concerns.

NCP Convener and Dhaka-11 MP Nahid Islam announced the programme on Friday afternoon during a week-long leaflet distribution campaign in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.

The party is pressing four demands, including the resignation of the two ministers.
