Khairuzzaman Mozumder appointed finance secretary on contract

The government has appointed Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder as secretary of the Finance Division on a contractual basis for one year.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Monday.

According to the notification, issued under Section 49 of the Government Service Act, 2018, the appointment will take effect from the date he joins his new post.

The appointment comes with the conditions that his post-retirement leave and related benefits will remain suspended and that he must severe all employment relationships with any other profession, business, or government, semi-government or private institution or organisation.

The notification said the other terms and conditions of his appointment would be determined through a contract.
