Light rain accompanied by thunderstorms is possible in Dhaka and neighbouring areas today, Thursday (October 29), according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The sky may remain partly cloudy to cloudy, while southerly to southeasterly winds may blow at 10-15 kilometres per hour. Daytime temperatures may decrease slightly.

At 6:00 AM, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 29.9 degrees Celsius, with 85 per cent humidity. The minimum temperature today was 26.6 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 35.6 degrees Celsius.

Sunset in Dhaka today will be at 5:21 PM, while sunrise tomorrow is expected at 6:03 AM.
