Only 139 instts achieve 100pc success in HSC

An analysis of the published results shows that 12,40,798 students from 9,390 educational institutions appeared in this year's examinations. Of these institutions, only 139 managed to ensure that all their candidates passed.

In 2025, a total of 345 institutions recorded a 100 per cent pass rate. This means the number of institutions achieving the distinction fell by 206 this year.

Meanwhile, the number of institutions with a zero per cent pass rate also increased.

This year, not a single student passed from 293 educational institutions, compared with 202 such institutions in 2025.

The number of institutions recording a zero per cent pass rate therefore increased by 91 in a year.

The results highlight a decline in overall examination performance, reflected in both the reduced number of institutions achieving a perfect pass rate and the growing number where no candidates passed.
