Govt orders national flag hoisting on Nov 7

The government has directed all government, semi-government, autonomous and private buildings, along with Bangladesh missions abroad, to hoist the national flag on November 7 to mark the National Revolution and Solidarity Day.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (November 1).

According to the notification, the national flag must be hoisted at all government, semi-government, autonomous and private buildings across the country, as well as at Bangladesh diplomatic missions abroad.

Earlier, the Public Administration Ministry declared November 7 a public holiday through a notification issued on October 7.
