Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane says he would give up his Ballon d’Or trophy in exchange for a Champions League title.
The 33-year-old, who became the first Englishman in 25 years to win the Ballon d’Or last week, said team success mattered more than individual awards.
Speaking ahead of Bayern’s Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid in Spain, Kane said winning the European title with his teammates would be an incredible feeling.
Asked to choose between the two honours, England captain Kane said he would pick the Champions League, although he hoped to win both.
Kane scored 73 goals for club and country last season. He became the fifth Englishman to win the prestigious Ballon d’Or.
