RAOZAN, CHATTOGRAM, May 13: Successful examinees of SSC exam-2024 in Raozan Upazila of the district started to cheer in basking mood in their respective educational institutions on Sunday.
The rate of SSC pass in the upazila is 90.35 per cent, with a total of 216 GPA-5 holders.
According to an analysis of the results, though the pass rate of SSC has increased, the GPA-5 rate has decreased. But both rates of pass and GPA-5 of Dakhil exam have increased.
The pass rate of Dakhil exam is 93.34 per cent while 62 examinees have got GPA-5.
In the SSC exam-2023, the pass rate was 75.36 per cent while 251 ones got GPA-5; in the Dakhil exam, the pass rate was 90.41 per cent while 16 ones got GPA-5.
Compared to the last year, the SSC pass rate has increased by 15 per cent, but the number of GPA-5 holders has decreased by 35; the Dakhil pass rate has increased by about three per cent while the number of GPA-5 holders increased by 46.
According to the exam results, a total of 4,479 examinees from 57 high schools appeared in the SSC exam-2024; of them, 4,047 ones have passed; a total of 216 examinees from 37 schools have secured GPA-5; the pass rate is 90.35 per cent.
A 100 per cent pass rate was recorded with Cuet School & College, with 72 GPA-5 and Holdia High School. Raozan RR AC Model Government High School has achieved second position in GPA-5 terms. From this school a total of 197 examinees took part in the SSC exam, and of them 192 ones passed.
Despite 100 per cent pass rate, Holdia High School has got only one GPA-5.
A total of 871 Dakhil examinees appeared in the SSC equivalent exam from 22 Madrasas; of them, 831 ones have passed; and 62 examinees from 11 madrasas have achieved GPA-5; the Dakhil pass rate is 93.34 per cent.
Besides, under the Technical Education Board, a total of 375 examinees took part in the SSC equivalent exam from five institutions; of them, 332 ones passed; a total of 11 examinees have got GPA-5 from three institutions.
Assistant Head Teacher of Cuet School & College Mujibur Rahman said, all 144 examinees of the school have passed including 72 GPA-5; the pass rate is 100 per cent.
Head Teacher of Gujra Shyamacharan High School Kanak Das said, out of total 53 examinees of the school 51 ones have passed including four GPA-5; the pass rate is 96.22 per cent.
Assistant Head Teacher of Pachwim Gujra High School Shekhor Ghosh Apon said, a teacher feels proud for good results of students.
