3,850 cold-hit people get winter clothes in three districts

Winter clothes were distributed among more than 3,850 cold-hit destitute people in three districts - Feni, Natore and Kurigram.

FENI: Winter clothes were distributed among 3,000 helpless people in Parshuram Upazila of the district on Monday.
Chithlia Union BNP of Parshuram Upazila organized the distribution programme at Dhanikunda Bazar at noon with its President Munshi Nazrul Islam Jahangir in the chair. 
Rafiqul Alam Mojnu, convenor of Dhaka City South BNP and organizing coordinator of Feni-1 constituency, attended the programme as the chief guest.

BNP Executive Committee Member Abu Taleb, Parshuram Upazila BNP Convenor Abdul Halim and Member Secretary Ibrahim Khalil Moni were present as special guests at the programme moderated by General Secretary of Chithlia Union BNP Master Sheikh Ahmed.
 
NATORE: Winter clothes were distributed among more than 500 poor and helpless people in Singra Upazila of the district on Monday organized by.

Singra Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mazharul Islam inaugurated the distribution on the ground of Damdama Girls High School under Singra Municipality at around 11 am.

Buro Bangladesh organized the programme with its Sirajganj Regional Manager Abul Hossain Mia in the chair.

The organization's Singra Branch Manager Mohammad Mamun Rana, among others, was also present at the programme.

KURIGRAM: The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB-22) Battalion on Monday distributed winter clothes among 350 cold-hit people with disabilities in the district.

The distribution programme was organized on the Border Guard Public School ground at noon.

Commander of Kurigram BGB-22 Battalion Lt Col Muhammad Masudur Rahman, Assistant Director Md Yunus Ali and other BGB personnel were also present at the time.

Muhammad Masudur Rahman said that such welfare work will continue in the future, expressing hope that BGB will always stand by the helpless and poor people.
