Mustafizur Rahman etched his name deeper into T20 history on Friday by claiming his 400th wicket in the format during Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2026.
With the milestone, Mustafizur became the 11th bowler in T20 cricket overall and only the second Bangladeshi to reach the 400-wicket mark in the shortest format of the game.
The Rangpur Riders fast bowler achieved the feat by dismissing Sylhet Titans all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, a moment that once again highlighted his long-standing impact in T20 cricket.
Renowned for his trademark cutters and disciplined line and length, Mustafizur has been a consistent wicket-taker across domestic and international leagues, regularly troubling batters with his variations.
At the international level, the left-arm pacer has taken 158 wickets for Bangladesh in T20 internationals, further cementing his reputation as one of the country’s most successful white-ball bowlers.
