Dhaka Capitals all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin has underlined the importance of Mustafizur Rahman within the squad, describing the Bangladesh left-arm pacer as a “huge asset” and praising his calm presence in the dressing room on Tuesday.

Speaking after the team’s practice session, Saifuddin said the Capitals drew reassurance from Mustafizur’s relaxed mindset despite the pressure surrounding him. According to the all-rounder, the senior fast bowler showed no signs of concern or frustration following the match.

“We all know how important Mustafiz is for us,” Saifuddin said. “Sharing the dressing room with him and being his teammate at the national level is something we are proud of.”

Saifuddin revealed that the players spent time together after the match over a meal, where he personally invited Mustafizur to sit with him. What impressed him most, he said, was the pacer’s composed attitude.

“He didn’t look worried at all. He seemed completely relaxed, just like he usually is when he listens to music,” Saifuddin explained. “When we saw how calm he was, we realised there was no reason for us to worry either. That helped everyone relax.”

Mustafizur’s experience and temperament continue to play a vital role for Dhaka Capitals, both on and off the field. Saifuddin’s remarks underline the value of senior players in maintaining balance and confidence within the squad during demanding phases of the tournament.
