Madrasa student killed in Madaripur road mishap

MADARIPUR, Jan 8: A madrasa student was killed after being hit by a passenger bus in Rajoir Upazila of Madaripur. 
The deceased, Osman, 19, was the son of Billal Howlader of Uttaripara Village under Rangabali Police Station in Patuakhali District.
He was a student of Baitul Noor Cadet Madrasa, located behind the Shahabuddin Ahmed Molla Complex in Tekerhat, adjacent to the fish market under Rajoir Upazila.
The accident occurred on the slope of the Bara Bridge in Rajoir Upazila on the Dhaka-Barisal Highway at around 10 pm on Wednesday.
Officer-in-Charge of Mustafapur Highway Police Station Md. Mamun Al Rashid, said the body will be handed over to the family after completing the legal process.
