Two found dead in 2 districts

Two persons have been found dead in Pirojpur District and Paikgachha Upazila of Khulna District in two days.

PIROJPUR: Police have recovered a youth’s hanging body from the ceiling of his house in the sluice gate area of Mathbaria Upazila headquarters in the district on Wednesday.

The deceased was Obaidur Rahman Suman 30, son of Moinuddin Pramanik of Adamdighi Upazila in Bogura District and a construction worker living at a rented house in Mathbaria for the last five years. 

Locals claimed that the deceased was addicted to online gambling and had taken loans from different organisations. Failing to repay the loan money, he was frustrated and killed self. 

Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Mathbaria Police Station Sheikh Helal Uddin said police recovered the body and sent it to District Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

PAIKGACHHA, KHULNA: Police have recovered the blood-stained body of a sales representative (SR) of PRAN-RFL Group from a rented house of Ram Prasad Mandal in the Hospital Road area of Ward No. 5 of Paikgachha Municipality on Tuesday afternoon. 

The deceased was Bishwajit Deuri, 25, was the son of Hiralal Deuri of Betora Village in Jhalakathi Sadar Upazila.
Since the incident, the deceased’s roommate and RFL assistant technician Antar Sarkar, 23, son of Liton Sarkar of Laxmipur Fasiatola Village in Kalkini Upazila of Madaripur District, has been missing along with his motorcycle. Law enforcers have launched an operation to arrest the accused Antar Sarkar.
