
LALMOHAN, BHOLA, Jan 12: Major (Retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Bir Bikram, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, has pledged to upgrade the Lalmohan Upazila Health Complex in Bhola from 50 to 100 beds if the BNP returns to state power.
He gave this assurance on Monday morning after visiting the upazila health complex and enquiring about the treatment of patients.
Major Hafiz stated, "My goal is to ensure fair medical services for the people of this neglected region. Necessary steps will be taken to appoint specialist doctors for advanced treatment here. We will ensure arrangements so that ordinary people receive quality medical services, InshaAllah."
Present at the time were Lal Mohan Upazila Health Complex's Residential Medical Officer Dr Md Mohsin Khan, Medical Officer Dr Md Yusuf Hossain, Upazila BNP President Zafar Iqbal, General Secretary Shafiqul Islam Babul, officials from various levels of the health complex, and leaders and activists of the BNP and its associate organisations.
