CUET Annual Sports Completed

CHATTOGRAM, JAN 22: Annual Sports Competition-2026 of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) concluded with a grand ceremony at the university's central playground on Thursday.

CUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan was present as the chief guest at the event.

CUET Student Welfare Director Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubul Alam presided over the event and CUET Deputy Director (Public Relations) Mohammad Fazlur Rahman moderated the event. 

Around 1,200 students, teachers, officers and staff are participated in this year's annual sports competition in 36 events.

Shaon Barua was selected as the fastest man and Zarin Tasnim Saba as the fastest woman in the competition. 

CUET Mathematics Department Professor Dr. Ashutosh Saha served as the field marshal of the annual sports competition. 

Among others, Professor Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Professor Dr. Asiful Haque, Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Professor Dr. A.H. Rashedul Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Kazi Afzalur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing, Professor Dr. Muhammad Rashidul Hasan, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, and Professor Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Registrar (Additional Responsibilities) were present on the occasion.
