46 arrested in Dhaka in 24hrs

 
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested a total of 46 people involved in various crimes during operations carried out across the capital in the last 24 hours under Operation Devil Hunt Phase-2.

Police from Mugda, Jatrabari, Kalabagan, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Rupnagar and Demra police stations conducted the drives and arrested them, said DMP's Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) Muhammad Talebur Rahman.

He said on Sunday that of the arrestees, 18 were held by Mugda Police Station, 12 by Jatrabari Police Station, two by Kalabagan Police Station, four by Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, six by Rupnagar Police Station and four by Demra Police Station.
