A special discussion meeting and documentary screening titled “Youth’s Vision for Future Naogaon-1” was held in Sapahar, Naogaon, under the initiative of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
The event took place at 11:30 AM on Wednesday (February 4) at the Jamaat-e-Islami election office in the upazila headquarters, organized by the Sapahar Upazila unit of Jamaat-e-Islami.
The meeting was chaired by Abul Khair Tarun, Ameer of Sapahar Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami. The chief guest was Principal Mahbubul Alam, Jamaat-e-Islami–nominated parliamentary candidate for Naogaon-1 (Sapahar–Porsha–Niamatpur) constituency, supported by the 11-party alliance in the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mahbubul Alam said that the youth must play a leading role in building a prosperous Bangladesh in the future. He added that the goal is to develop Naogaon-1 into a modern, educated, and discrimination-free region. “By utilizing the innovative ideas and creativity of the youth, we aim to build our dream Naogaon-1,” he said.
Among the special guests were Naoshad Ali, member of the district Jamaat working committee and election director; Afzal Hossain, Ameer of Niamatpur Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami; Zaidul Islam, Sapahar Upazila Assistant Secretary; and Engineer Mominul Haque. Local leaders and activists were also present at the event.
During the program, a documentary titled “Youth’s Vision for Future Naogaon-1” was presented by Engineer Ahmed Ali. At the end of the discussion meeting, prizes were distributed among the winners of a video competition based on youth perspectives on building a “Dream Naogaon-1.” Three young participants were awarded attractive prizes for their performances.
