IAB unveils election manifesto

Cash assistance for marginalized communities, nutritious food for primary school students, interest-free loans for youth, provision of health and agricultural inputs, women and child welfare programmes, modern transportation system for urban residents, and price control. These 12-point programmes are mentioned in the manifesto.

Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) released its election manifesto Manifesto of People's Expectations on Wednesday. Party Ameer Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim and Pir Charmonai presented this manifesto to the nation as the chief guests. 

The manifesto mainly mentions plans in three areas, state formation and policy reforms, administrative and economic reforms, and social and sector-based development. In state reform, the party is committed to introducing transparent and accountable administration following Islamic principles.
