Primary teacher recruitment results published

Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has published the final results of recruitment process for assistant teachers in government primary schools within one month of holding the written examination. 

A total of 14,384 candidates have been selected from 61 districts.

The results were released on Sunday night on the official website of Directorate of Primary Education.

The written examination for the recruitment of assistant teachers was held on January 9 at 1,408 centres across the country, with 830,088 candidates taking part. 

The results of the written test were published on January 21, in which 69,265 candidates were declared successful. 

The viva voce examinations for the shortlisted candidates were conducted from January 28 to February 3.

In the first phase, recruitment circulars were issued on November 5 last year for 10,219 assistant teacher posts in government primary schools under Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Khulna, Barishal and Mymensingh divisions. 

In the second phase, advertisements were published on November 12 for 4,166 assistant teacher posts in schools under Dhaka and Chattogram divisions.

The DPE said the recruitment process was completed in line with the prescribed rules and procedures, ensuring timely completion of each stage.
