Manik pledges drug-free Chandpur

CHANDPUR, Feb 9: BNP candidate for Chandpur-3, Sheikh Farid Ahmed Manik, has pledged to build a drug-free and corruption-free Chandpur, friendly to industry and tourism. 

He urged everyone to vote for the Paddy Sheaf symbol on the upcoming  election.

He further stated that if elected, he would ensure the supply of potable water in Chandpur. He would work to free Chandpur from traffic congestion and create an education-friendly environment in educational institutions. He would expedite the construction work of Chandpur Medical College and Chandpur Science and Technology University.

He also said that if Tariq Zia becomes the Prime Minister, there will be massive development in Chandpur. He requested everyone, irrespective of party affiliation, to vote for the Paddy Sheaf for the development of Chandpur and the country.

Central Joint General Secretary Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel spoke as the chief guest at the rally. The rally was conducted by District BNP General Secretary Advocate Selim Ullah Selim.

District BNP leaders, leaders of affiliated organizations, and thousands of workers and supporters were present at the rally.
