Gazette issued appointing ministers

The Cabinet Division has issued a gazette notification appointing the prime minister and other members of the new cabinet.

The formation of a new 50-member cabinet was completed following the issuance of the notification regarding ministerial appointments and portfolio distribution.

The new cabinet includes 49 ministers and state ministers. Of them, 25 will serve as full ministers and 24 as state ministers.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will oversee the Cabinet Division, the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces Division.

Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani signed the notification.
