Algeria congratulates Khalilur Rahman on election as UNGA 81st session President

Algeria has congratulated H.E. Khalilur Rahman, Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, on his election as President of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, describing it as a recognition of his diplomatic leadership and Bangladesh’s growing role in global affairs.

In a congratulatory message, Algeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, said the election reflects Mr. Rahman’s distinguished service and Bangladesh’s contribution to strengthening international cooperation and multilateralism.

He expressed Algeria’s full support for Mr. Rahman’s tenure and reaffirmed readiness to work closely with him in advancing the principles of the UN Charter and promoting effective multilateral cooperation.
