Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of Bangladesh's largest and most diversified conglomerates, has been named a Prestigious Brand of Asia 2025-26 by Brand Advertising Research and Consulting Pvt Ltd (BARC Asia).

Simultaneously, MGI Chairman and Managing Director Mostafa Kamal was honored as an Influential Business Leader in Asia at the awards ceremony held in Dubai.

MGI Head of Chartering Remzi Issever received the awards on behalf of MGI and Mostafa Kamal at the Dubai ceremony, says a press release.

The recognition, determined through an independent research process and expert jury panel, acknowledges MGI's sustained commitment to innovation, customer trust, and market leadership across both domestic and international markets.

With over five decades of operations spanning 54+ industrial units- from FMCG and building materials to energy, hospitality, and financial services- MGI serves nearly one in every two households in Bangladesh.

Mostafa Kamal's leadership award reflects his role in building MGI into a regional industrial force with a growing global footprint, driving impact across manufacturing, infrastructure, banking, media, and beyond.

The Prestigious Brands of Asia Awards spotlight organizations and leaders that have set new benchmarks in their industries through legacy, sustainability, and transformative contributions to the economy.
