South Korean President confident in Bangladesh’s growth under PM Tarique Rahman

President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung has expressed confidence that Bangladesh will continue to achieve sustained economic growth and social prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

In a message to the Bangladeshi Prime Minister, President Lee highlighted the expanding cooperation between Korea and Bangladesh in areas such as education, investment, development projects and people-to-people exchanges, noting that these collaborations are built on long-standing friendship and mutual trust.

President Lee also expressed his eagerness to work with PM Tarique to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.

He extended his heartfelt congratulations to PM Tarique on his leadership following his election, praising the strong support he received from the people of Bangladesh.

"Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your success and for the continued prosperity of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh," the message read, according to the South Korean Embassy in Dhaka on Tuesday.
