
GURUDASPUR, NATORE, Mar 28: Gurudaspur Club and Library accorded a reception to Abdul Aziz, lawmaker from Natore-4 constituency, on Friday.
The event was chaired by Jewel Rana, President of Gurudaspur Club and Library and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ADC), Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
Speaking as the chief guest, MP Abdul Aziz stressed that sustainable development hinges on coordinated efforts by local government bodies, administration, and the people. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing infrastructure in Gurudaspur, modernising education, and strengthening social welfare initiatives.
Special guests at the programme included Sabuj Ahmed, Executive Magistrate of Rajuk and General Secretary of Gurudaspur Club and Library; Asadul Islam, Assistant Commissioner (land) of Gurudaspur; Jahangir Alam Mithu, headmaster of Gurudaspur Government Pilot Model High School; Shafiqul Islam, upazila social services officer; and Shafiquzzaman, Officer-In-Charge of Gurudaspur Police Station.
Speakers lauded Aziz's leadership in driving local development projects and underscored the need for collective cooperation to sustain the momentum.
The event concluded with the presentation of a crest to the lawmaker. Local representatives, teachers, students, and people from diverse walks of life joined the ceremony.
