Five detained with drugs at Porsha

PORSHA, NAOGAON, Apr 19: Police have arrested five drug dealers along with 29 pieces of Indian Tapentadol tablets and two motorcycles. 

On Friday night, Tariqul Islam Tarek, 25, son of Mojibur Rahman of Aladipur Dakkhinpara in Sapahar Upazila, was arrested along with 10 pieces of Tapentadol tablets and a mobile phone in Kalaibari of the upazila. 

On the other hand, on the same night, Dilip Babu, 19, Rashedul Islam, 22, son of Fagu Lakra of Somnagar Dhamapur, Nuruzzaman, 36, son of Nur Salam of Ghatnagar Kazipara Village and A Roich, 26, son of Ashraful Islam of Telipara Village were arrested in Ghatnagar Union of the upazila along with 19 pieces of Tapentadol tablets and 2 unregistered motorcycles.

Porsha Thana OC Ziaur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that two separate cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been filed with the police station.
