
Habibur Rahman Milon (60), Graphic Designer of The Daily Observer, has died in a tragic road accident. (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un).
The accident occurred on Sunday morning while he was attempting to board a bus. His untimely death has cast a deep shadow of grief over his workplace and colleagues.
He hailed from Matlab upazila in Chandpur district and had been residing in the Kajla Dhania area of Dhaka. His funeral prayer (Namaj-e-Janaza) was held in Kajla after Isha prayers on Sunday. He is scheduled to be laid to rest at his family graveyard in Matlab on Monday.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, two daughters, and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
Colleagues described Habibur Rahman Milon as a sincere, dedicated and hardworking professional. Over the years, he earned respect and trust through his honesty, skill and commitment to his work. His cooperative attitude and warm personality made him a well-loved figure in the organisation.
His sudden death has left his colleagues deeply shocked and saddened, who termed it an irreparable loss to the organisation. Many said his absence will be felt for a long time in the workplace.
They prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, seeking Allah's blessings for his soul to be granted Jannatul Ferdous.
