
Standard Chartered Bangladesh, in partnership with Channel i, has officially launched the 11th edition of the Agrow Award, continuing its longstanding commitment to recognising individuals and organisations driving progress in Bangladesh's agriculture sector.
As agriculture remains central to Bangladesh's economy and food security, the 11th edition of the Agrow Award aims to further amplify stories of resilience, innovation, and leadership that are shaping the future of the industry and improving livelihoods across communities, says a press release.
This year's awards will recognise excellence across multiple categories, including Lifetime Achievement; Farmer of the Year (Male and Female); Resilient Small-Scale Farmer (Male and Female); Hero for Change; Best Journalist (Agriculture); Best Agricultural Organisation in Research, Innovation and Technology; Best Agricultural Organisation in Support and Execution; Best Agricultural Exporter; Best Climate Adaptation Solution; Rooftop Gardener of the Year; and Jury Special.

Applications for the 11th Agrow Award are now open and will be accepted until 30 June 2026. Submissions will be evaluated by a distinguished jury panel comprising local and international experts, academics, and industry leaders. Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony later this year.
