Gold prices in Bangladesh have risen once more, with the latest revision pushing the price of 22-carat gold up by Tk2,158 per bhori.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday morning by the Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS), the new rate for 22-carat gold has been set at Tk242,495 per bhori (11.664 grams).

The updated prices took effect from 10:00 AM, the release confirmed.

BAJUS said the adjustment was driven by an increase in the price of pure (tejabi) gold in the local market, alongside overall market conditions.

Under the revised pricing, 21-carat gold is now selling at Tk231,472 per bhori, while 18-carat gold is priced at Tk198,405 per bhori. Gold produced through traditional methods has been set at Tk161,605 per bhori.
