Noor gets bail in two murder cases

Former Awami League minister Asaduzzaman Noor were granted bail in two separate murder cases filed with Mirpur and Ramna Police Stations, by the High Court on Sunday.

The decision was announced by a two-member HC bench led by Justice KM Jahid Sarwar Kajol and Justice Sheikh Abu Taher.

Lawyer ZI Khan Panna and Barrister Rehan were present in the court on behalf of Noor, while deputy attorney general Shayla Sharmin and assistant attorney general Md Alamin represented the state. 

Police arrested Asaduzzaman Noor from Bailey Road in the capital at night of September 15, 2024.
