One dead, two injured falling off moving train roof in Mymensingh

A man died and two others were injured after falling from the roof of a moving commuter train in Ghunti area of Mymensingh city on Tuesday afternoon, bdnews24 reports.
The deceased was identified as Md. Musa, 30, a resident of Uttar Salna area, according to Akhtar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mymensingh GRP Police Station.
According to police sources, the three individuals were riding on the roof of a Jamalpur-bound commuter train when they fell off. Locals rushed them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH), where on-duty physicians pronounced Musa dead.
Of the injured, an individual named Shamim is currently undergoing treatment at MMCH, while the third passenger, could not be identified while writing this report, was released after receiving first aid.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, OC Akhtar added.
