Grameenphone (GP) has secured the digital streaming rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Bangladesh, enabling football fans across the country to watch every match of the tournament live through its digital platforms.

Under the arrangement, all 104 matches of the expanded World Cup will be available on Bioscope+, MyGP and Skitto, giving subscribers access to the world's biggest football event on their smartphones and other connected devices.

The telecom operator said the initiative is aimed at enhancing customers' digital experience by combining live sports entertainment with reliable nationwide connectivity. To support uninterrupted viewing, GP will introduce a range of dedicated data packs and special combo offers tailored for football enthusiasts throughout the tournament.

Bioscope+ will serve as the primary platform for live match coverage, while the MyGP app will provide users with access to match schedules, football-related content and exclusive promotional offers. Skitto users will also be able to enjoy seamless access to the live streams through the app.

The FIFA World Cup 2026, the largest edition in the tournament's history, will feature 48 teams and 104 matches. The competition is expected to generate massive interest among Bangladeshi football fans, who have traditionally followed the World Cup with passion and enthusiasm.

By bringing the entire tournament to its digital ecosystem, GP aims to make the World Cup more accessible to local audiences while further strengthening its position in the country's growing digital entertainment and content streaming market.
