4 killed as pickup hits stationary truck in Tangail

Four people were killed after a chicken-laden pickup van hit a stationary truck, loaded with bamboo, in Tangail's Sakhipur upazila.

The accident occurred approximately 4AM in at Kalia Ghonarchala area under Kalia Union of the upazila.

The identities of the dead could not known.

Sakhipur Police Station ASI Md Al Mamun said the chicken-laden pickup crashed into the stationary bamboo-loaded truck at around 4AM, leaving four of the pickup passengers dead.

The bodies have been taken to Sakhipur Police Station, he added.
